PLEASE VISIT THE UPDATED PROJECT TASK/PERSON LIST THAT WAS HANDED OUT AT THE MEETING, BASED ON SURVEY RESPONSES!!
Due to the limited number of attendees, not all tasks were able to be discussed/assigned. The following were handed out:
- Contact list of all who had previously indicated interest in the project.
- Task list and those who had indicated expertise/interest in specific ones. ( AS Above!)
- Multiple documents/reference materials to be combined into a single worksheet/packet for use when meeting with LEO. Likely similar materials will be in the packet for the advocate who goes on-site at first call.
The following topics were discussed;
- Need for a name whose acronym will be catchy and relevant … not only our ‘job”, but to ensure a child that we will FIND them!!! A contest may be initiated.
- Need for a corresponding logo;
- Bloodhound dispatch, effectiveness.
- Additions/usefulness of drones to searches.
- General agreement on presented items, especially on-site immediate support person.
- Need to outreach and obtain additional support persons/community businesses, etc….
- Refusing to assist when families will not fully disclose issues missing one may have been experiencing; Suggested an NDA be offered to overcome fear of wrongful use of information. (We cannot DO the job of finding if information is withheld.)
