A neighboring 15 year-old teen went missing on 3/24, but we were not involved until 3/27. Though our team and procedures were not complete, we pieced together resources, working with the family and GYPD, which resulted in the teen returning home, voluntarily, on the March 2nd, 2024.
Through the use of Lucy, neighbors, flyers, technololgy, and a mother’s plea, the missing teen became tired of ‘running’ once he realized his network of friends had been compromised. A loving plea from the family was relayed to him. He felt both the need and comfort to return home… safely and uneventfully, on his own.
